The Georgians are proud of their ancient history of wine making. You will visit the Georgian wine-making center – a picturesque region of Kakheti, explore delightful vineyards, go down into the cellars, learn the secrets of Georgian wine-making, as well as taste the famous Kakhetian wine. Also you will try yourself in making Georgian bread and churchkhela.

Day 1. Meeting at the airport. Transfer to hotel. After a brief rest, you will start sightseeing tour of Tbilisi.  Beautiful, ancient, historical & cultural administrative capital of Georgia built by King Vakhtang Gorgasali in the 5th century.

In the evening you will have traditional Georgian dinner in luxurious restaurant with live performance of folk music and of course dancing.

Day 2. Breakfast at the hotel. Tbilisi city tour and tour to Mtskheta  Mtskheta – the ancient capital of Georgia. Mtskheta was the capital of the eastern kingdom of Georgia – Iberia from the third century BC to the 5th century AD. Today the city and its architectural monuments are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Lunch in the local restaurant in Mtskheta overlooking the ancient town (dishes from Georgian cuisine).

Also you will visit winery Chato Mukhrani  which is one of the must-visit venues for getting a fascinating insight into the traditions and secrets of Georgian wine-making. You will have a tour around the fabulous castle and cellars, amazing gardens and vineyards.

Day 3. Breakfast at the hotel.

Trip to Kakheti – the picturesque region famous for the producing of excellent Georgian wines. Here the wine is produced by special  Kakhetian technology. Kakheti is considered to be the birthplace of wine culture and wine making. The wine represents symbol of the hospitality, friendship and tolerance for the Georgian people. Also Kakheti is one of the most beautiful regions in Georgia.

You will visit: The Monastery of St. Nino in Bodbe, Sighnagi- city of love, Alaverdi Monastery located at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains. The monks here prepare wine by millenary traditions and keep it in the unique wine cellar of the XI-th cent.

Also you will visit famous winery “Khareba”. Here you will have degustation of local wines, as well as a master class on baking Georgian bread shoti and national sweet churchkhela.

Overnight in Kvareli. Hotel Teliani Valley.


Day 4. Breakfast at the hotel.

Tour around Telavi – the center of Kakheti region. Telavi is well-known for its delightful landscapes.

A trip to the village of Tsinandali known for its white dry wine Tsinandali

Excursion to the Tsinandali estate founded in the XIX century by Alexander Chavchavadze – the famous poet and public figure of Georgia. The estate is known of its amazing labyrinth planted with exotic trees and for the cellars, where the unique collection of Georgian and European wine is preserved.

Return to Tbilisi.

Overnight in Tbilisi.


Day 5.  Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Transfer at the airport.
